San Jose's International Baccalaureate Continuum
The
International Baccalaureate continuum offered at San Jose Unified
School district's downtown schools creates a Kindergarten through grade
12 course of study built around the hallmarks of IB programmes:
academic rigor, international perspective, and diversity.
Horace Mann Elementary School,
Peter Burnett Academy, and
San Jose High Academy
offer IB programmes that promote the education of the whole person,
emphasizing intellectual, personal, emotional, and social growth
through languages, humanities, sciences, mathematics, and the
arts. As the only k-12 IB Continuum in San Jose, and one of the
few in the world, we add to the strength of each programme through
collaboration and articulation between each partner school.
